Jewellery Care Guide
Preserve the Beauty of Your RAVINAAZ Jewellery
Every RAVINAAZ piece is chosen to be worn, enjoyed and celebrated. With thoughtful care and proper storage, you can help preserve the finish, appearance and beauty of your jewellery for longer.
EVERYDAY CARE
To help preserve your jewellery:
• Store each piece separately in its RAVINAAZ pouch, box or other suitable protective storage, where provided, to help prevent scratches and tangling.
• After wearing, gently wipe your jewellery with a clean, soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove surface moisture and natural oils.
• Handle jewellery carefully and avoid dropping, bending or applying excessive pressure, particularly to stones, clasps and delicate settings.
AVOID CONTACT WITH
To help maintain the appearance and finish of your jewellery, avoid direct or prolonged contact with:
• Water and excessive moisture
• Perfumes and deodorants
• Lotions and creams
• Hairsprays
• Hand sanitisers
• Makeup and cosmetics
• Household cleaning products
• Harsh chemicals and detergents
A simple rule to remember:
Perfume first. Jewellery last.
Complete your beauty routine and allow products to settle before putting on your jewellery.
WHEN TO REMOVE YOUR JEWELLERY
For better care, remove your jewellery before:
• Bathing or showering
• Swimming
• Exercising or playing sports
• Sleeping
• Household cleaning
• Gardening or other strenuous activities
This can help protect your jewellery from unnecessary exposure, friction and accidental damage.
STORAGE TIPS
When your jewellery is not being worn:
• Store pieces separately to help prevent scratching and tangling.
• Keep jewellery in a cool, dry place away from excessive humidity and direct sunlight.
• Avoid storing multiple pieces in direct contact with one another, particularly jewellery featuring stones, pearls or intricate detailing.
• Keep chains and necklaces arranged carefully to help prevent knots and tangles.
• Avoid placing heavy jewellery over delicate pieces.
TRAVELLING WITH YOUR JEWELLERY
When travelling, pack jewellery individually in protective pouches, boxes or separate compartments of a jewellery organiser.
Keeping pieces separated can help minimise movement, scratching, tangling and pressure on delicate components while in transit.
HANDLE DELICATE DETAILS WITH CARE
Jewellery featuring stones, pearls, beads, handcrafted elements, tassels, enamel, fabric, resin or other decorative details may require additional care.
Avoid pulling, bending or applying unnecessary pressure to delicate components.
A NOTE ON HANDCRAFTED & NATURAL VARIATIONS
Certain RAVINAAZ pieces may feature handcrafted elements, artisanal finishes, stones, pearls, Mother of Pearl, beads, semi-precious or natural materials.
Small variations in colour, texture, shape, stone placement, detailing or finish may occur and can form part of the individual character of the piece.
Such reasonable variations are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
A NOTE ON PLATING & NATURAL WEAR
Plated and fashion jewellery may naturally experience changes in its finish or appearance over time.
The rate at which this occurs can vary depending on the material and finish of the piece, frequency of wear, climate, moisture, perspiration, cosmetics, storage and individual usage.
Thoughtful handling and proper storage can help preserve the appearance of your jewellery for longer.
